RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS

Please don’t forget our 200th anniversary project of our Random Act of Kindness for the week of August 17.  It can be planned or spur of the moment.  You can use one of our printed cards available in the office to hand to the receiver of the act of kindness, or it may be completely anonymous.  The children in the family are also encouraged to participate.  Any questions, call Jane Gonczy at 440-834-4516.

200TH ANNIVERSARY COOKBOOKS

Thanks to the generosity of our church members, the original order of 300 commemorative cookbooks sold out in less than a month.  The second shipment of 220 cookbooks has just arrived and are available for $12 at several locations, including the church office. 

 Remember, these cookbooks make great shower, wedding, and Christmas gifts.  Please contact Jane Gonczy at 834-4516 if you are not able to get to the church during regular office hours.  At press time, they are also available at Sunrise Farm and A.H. Christianson's.

Jovial Outdoor “Birthday Party” Dinner  -- Friday August 22,  5:30 P.M.

Dinner by Joel’s Catering - grilled steak or chicken, salad, baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls, ice cream.  There will be music, entertainment, laughter, open-mike talent show, reunions, souvenirs. Tickets now available: $20-Adult, $10 children 10 & under, from office or Carol Hornak.

Concert in Sanctuary -- Saturday August 23,  7:00 P.M. Reception following.

Features the Church’s bell choirs, senior choir, duets and solos, with original compositions and old favorites.

 Festival Worship Service Sunday -- August 24, 10:00 A.M. Reception following.
